According to People, Thomas was working as a sound engineer for the BBC in 2016 when the two met. “We liked each other, we stayed in touch, and then he came to Vancouver,” Cattrall told the publication. “It was very brave of him, because we didn’t really know each other, apart from having a few meals together. But he came and we got along really well, and we’ve been together ever since!
