The government remains silent on the question of Saint-Martin (Fakhrul)

BNP general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the government remained silent on the St. Maarten issue.

The BNP leader made the allegation while speaking to reporters during an exchange of views meeting at his house in Thakurgaon district on Sunday (June 16) afternoon.

“The sovereignty of the country is now threatened. People are being killed by gunfire from Myanmar, but the government is saying nothing else. This weak and servile government clings to power based on foreign countries. Because of this, the government cannot utter a single word. The government should resign over the issue of Saint-Martin Island,” he said.
