La Librairie – News – Orion’s immersive The Incident Room returns to Harrogate with Vaseem Khan and Julian Clary

Orion’s immersive event space, The Incident Room, will return to Harrogate on Friday 19 July 2024 and will run alongside the main program of Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival.

Returning for its eighth year, the space will offer exclusive events for festival attendees, including a celebration of the publication of Murder in Harrogate, a collection of detective stories edited by Vaseem Khan, published by Orion in July. There will also be an Agatha Christie quiz, a live crime writers’ room and a conversation with Julian Clary about his beginnings in crime fiction. Reminder of the murder. The line-up will also include MJ Arlidge, Julia Crouch, Steph Broadribb, Vaseem Khan, Elly Griffiths, Ruth Ware, MW Craven and Mark Billingham alongside other Orion authors.

Following last year’s fundraising efforts, tickets to The Incident Room will once again be priced at £3 per person, with all profits going to Harrogate International Festivals’ educational programs.

Orion will also be offering a limited exclusive Harrogate at Home package for those unable to attend The Incident Room in person. We look forward to welcoming more readers to this year’s event. »
