Gwyneth Paltrow breaks silence on Princess Kate’s return

Gwyneth Paltrow said she felt like Princess Kate “looked so happy and healthy” in the royal’s first public appearance since her cancer diagnosis and abdominal surgery.

Kate attended Trooping the Color, a parade marking King Charles III’s official birthday, on Saturday, June 15, and was photographed on the balcony of Buckingham Palace next to the king.

Paltrow, star of Iron Man And Shakespeare in Loveresponded to an official photo of the Princess of Wales on Instagram, writing: “So happy to see you so happy and healthy.”

Kim Kardashian, Andy Cohen and Stephen Colbert were among those who joined in on the trend before Kate revealed her cancer diagnosis on March 22.

This very moving video message, in which she explained how difficult it was for her to talk to her children about her illness, stopped many in their tracks.

Cohen and Colbert were among the famous names to publicly backtrack, alongside regular people who also posted “Where’s Kate Middleton?”

Some stars have spoken out in support of Kate, including former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen who lives near Windsor and wrote on X that he saw her regularly.

At the time of Kate’s cancer video, Paltrow lent her support, writing, “A pillar of grace and strength! Sending love.”

However, his latest post is his first reaction to Kate returning to the public eye for the first time this year.

The princess was seen arriving at Buckingham Palace in a car with Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte in the morning before joining a procession of carriages and then appearing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

It was also the Welsh children’s first joint appearance in 2024, although George and William were seen together watching football.

Kate announced her return on Friday, writing: “I’m making good progress, but as anyone who goes through chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days.

“On bad days, you feel weak, tired and you have to let your body rest. But on good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of your well-being.

“My treatment is ongoing and will last a few more months. On the days when I feel well enough, it is a joy to participate in school life, to devote personal time to the things that give me energy and joy. positivity, as well as starting to do some work around the house.

“I’m looking forward to attending the King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to take part in a few public engagements over the summer, but I also know I haven’t been out yet wood.

“I’m learning to be patient, especially in the face of uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body and allowing myself to take this much-needed time to heal.”
