Gracie Abrams reveals how Taylor Swift inspired her songwriting

In a new interview with To carry, Gracie Abrams praises his companion and collaborator, Taylor Swift. Abrams called Swift an “incredible artist, friend and mentor,” while also crediting Taylor as “one of the reasons I stuck to writing daily.” Grammy nominee Abrams has now started writing as part of her daily routine, which will only further enhance her songwriting skills. “Now I’m starting to feel like shit when I don’t. It’s like eating well, sleeping enough and drinking enough,” Abrams said of finding time to write daily. “Writing, for me, is something that helps my brain stay at the basic calm that is necessary for me to function at the highest level possible in all other areas.” Abrams is set to release his highly anticipated sophomore album, Our secret, on June 21, which will feature a coveted duet with her best friend Swift.
