If there’s one thing we know for sure about Raptors swing man Gradey Dick, it’s that he’s got a hell of a sense of humor.

And when you consider the growing number of jokes he’s probably heard about his name, you can’t blame him for wanting to have a little fun with it.

Dick was up to his crass detours again on Monday, sending Toronto Raptors teammate Immanuel Quickley a birthday message in his Instagram Stories.

” Happy Birthday my brother ! » Dick wrote tagging Quickley, which is innocent enough.

However, the attached photo appeared to have been taken in the Raptors gift shop, with Dick’s jersey blocking out the “LEY” of Quickley’s name to form the phrase “Quick Dick.”

Quickley acknowledged Dick’s latest joke by responding, “My boy couldn’t wait.” »

This wasn’t the first time this year that Dick staged a photo shoot to exploit his humorous last name.

After a game in March, Dick got together with Orlando Magic rookie Anthony Black to join in a jersey swap that had the internet screaming.

Dick and Black were chatting after the game when the two decided to participate in a traditional show of respect: a jersey swap.

Black quickly went to get a team photographer, then swapped shirts with Dick and the duo posed for a quick photo.

It was clear that both players were in on it, with Black swapping places with Dick to make the meme perfect.

The next day, Dick downplayed the joke, saying of Black: “That’s my guy.” I have been playing against and with him since my middle school years.

Both players were in their first seasons in the NBA and were lottery picks in the 2023 draft.

“He’s been my guy for a long time. The guys exchange jerseys with their boys. He’s my friend,” Dick said.

After the latest mashup with his teammate, we’re sure this won’t be the last time we see Dick make a little fun of himself.
