Italian newspaper reveals how much money PSG offered Kvaratskhelia

Multiple reports in Italy claim that PSG are behind Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s request to leave Napoli and according to Tuttosport, the Ligue 1 giants have offered the Georgian international a €9 million-a-year deal.

Kvaratskhelia requested to leave Naples through his agent, Mamuka Jugeli, and his father, Badri.

The Georgian ace wants to play in the Champions League and has told the Partenopei that he is eager to leave the club.

Sky Sport Italia reported on Tuesday morning that Kvara spoke to new Napoli coach Antonio Conte a few weeks ago, saying he wanted to stay at Napoli and was excited about his appointment.

However, talks over a new contract with Napoli have not progressed as the player wanted.

Multiple sources, including Il Corriere della Sera, claim that Napoli have offered the Georgian ace a new contract worth €4.5 million per year, but the demand is for €6 million per season plus add-ons.

According to the Tuttosport newspaper on page three, PSG offered Kvara a contract worth 9 million euros per year, so the Ligue 1 giants are behind his sudden request to leave the club.

Meanwhile, Kvaratskhelia is preparing for Georgia’s first ever EURO 2024 appearance against Vincenzo Montella’s Turkey in Dortmund.

Napoli hit back at Kvara’s agent on Monday, saying the player was not on the market. Sky Sport Italia and other sources report that the Partenopei have already rejected a €100 million offer from the Ligue 1 giants.
