Cobra Package Live on Amazon: A Bengaluru Couple’s Shocking Experience

The couple, who live on Sarjapur Road, filmed the entire incident and have eyewitnesses to back up their claims. “We ordered an Xbox controller two days ago from Amazon and received a live snake in the package. The package was handed over directly to us by the delivery partner, and is not left outside,” said one of the customers.

Despite receiving a full refund from Amazon, the couple expressed serious concerns about the safety risks posed by this incident. “We received a full refund, but what do we get for risking our lives here with a highly venomous snake? This is clearly a security breach caused solely by Amazon’s negligence and their poor transportation/warehousing hygiene and supervision. Where is the responsibility for such a serious safety lapse? » added the customer.

A video of the cobra stuck in the packaging tape went viral on social media, showing the ajar Amazon package kept in a bucket with the snake writhing and trying to escape.

“They just shared a full refund, which they should have had anyway. But we received no compensation or official apology beyond that. Their typical “we regret the inconvenience caused” is not enough. This is absolutely not acceptable to us as Amazon customers and to their delivery partner as an employee. This is a blatant security violation. Additionally, I don’t think we will receive a satisfactory resolution in the near future,” the customer told the outlet.

The cobra was reportedly captured and released in a safe place, away from people.
