A flock of geese stops traffic on Ottawa Road

An Ottawa commuter unexpectedly found himself playing the role of traffic cop for a flock of geese on a busy Canadian parkway.

Footage recorded by Yolla Toushan shows the large group of birds blocking traffic on Kichi Zibi Mikan Promenade.

“I was riding my bike when this flock of geese decided to cross the street with their mom. It was funny at first, but then it got serious because they were ignoring the cars and had no intention of stopping,” Toushan said.

“I flagged down an Acura just in time and luckily the cars stopped. The geese crossed, but after a few seconds, they turned back to cross again! It was hilarious – everyone stopped to watch. They totally made my day,” she added.
