Pop fans shocked as A-list singer spotted with rarely seen children and dad eating ice cream on day out in Suffolk

HE is one of the biggest music stars on the planet.

But when he’s not performing to sold-out stadiums, hanging out with A-list friends or creating pop perfection, Ed Sheeran, 33, is just like the rest of us .

In our exclusive photos, The Shape of You hitmaker can be seen enjoying a day on the coast with his two children – Lyra and Jupiter – and his father John.

Ed wore a cap, sunglasses and wrapped in a blue coat as he visited the small coastal village of Walberswick, Suffolk, where the family went to buy ice creams.

The singer-songwriter, whose Sheeranville estate is about a 30-minute drive away, had a smile on his face as he took his youngest daughter, two-year-old Jupiter, by the hand.

Oldest Lyra, three, was walking nearby and looked like she was having fun during the family day.

Globetrotter Ed was in Miami last month for the Formula 1 Grand Prix where he was treated to a hot lap from Mercedes driver George Russell.

Footage from inside the car went viral as Ed battled the speed and force of the race car.

A few days later he was back in Suffolk to serenade the players of his beloved Ipswich Town, whose shirt he sponsors, after securing promotion to the Premier League for the first time in 22 years.

Ed, who is worth £300 million, was very much one of the boys as he drank beer and played his guitar at the raucous promo night.

He and his wife Cherry have kept both of his pregnancies a secret, but occasionally share photos with the children on social media.

Cherry was diagnosed with cancer six months into her second pregnancy when a tumor was discovered in her arm, but she had to wait until after birth to receive treatment. The lump was removed a month after welcoming Jupiter.

The ordeal caused them both to reflect on their mortality and Ed turned to music as therapy, quickly writing several songs. Succession.
