A father of three from the Flight Path District has once again been left perplexed by this younger generation.

Berrick Burns (56) from the former working-class enclave of our rapidly gentrifying city explained to The lawyer that things are moving too fast for him these days.

“Dude, I never really understood fashion,” he sighed to our reporter this afternoon at the Flight Path Exchange hotel bar.

“And I think I understand it even less now.”

His comments come after his fashionista daughter, Lauren, arrived at his house last night wearing what he thought was supposed to be a saucy look.

“I’ve spent the last decade and a half being told I’m a dad because I pull up my socks and wear sweatpants everywhere except to a wedding or a funeral,” Berrick sighed.

“And now my daughters wear white New Balances with white socks pulled up?”

“And they pulled them up over their tights?”

“I can’t understand that to be honest.”

The dismay comes after the winter chill saw Lauren and her sister indulge in socks rather than the leggings trend.

Although she spent most of her life wearing socks and those weird things, Lauren now says she’s rocking the PE teacher look.

“Haha”

“He can’t win,” Lauren laughed.

“Me and Izzy have done so much shit to him over the years because he was a dad.”

“And now we’ve stolen his look.”

“But I’m not going to tell him how much I paid for these new sales.”
