15,000 Aer Lingus customers will be affected by the airline’s decision to cancel 120 flights in a single day on Saturday June 29, due to an eight-hour strike by Aer Lingus pilots next weekend.

Passengers on Aer Lingus short-haul flights to and from Ireland will be affected on that day, while the airline said long-haul flights on Saturday June 29 and Sunday June 30 have been rescheduled to avoid cancellations.

Aer Lingus said some passengers are being reassigned to alternative flights, while all customers will be contacted by email to advise them of cancellations and advise them of their options, including a free change to their flight, a refund or a request good.
