Take a look inside the new rooms at the Newport Beach Hotel & Suites

This season, guests at the oceanfront Newport Beach Hotel & Suites can retreat to renovated rooms after a picturesque soak in the rooftop hot tub.

The historic 45-room attic-style building, located just steps from iconic Easton’s Beach, has unveiled new rooms as part of a multi-phase renovation project. The property is part of the Intera Collection by TPG Hotels & Resorts.

“We are excited to unveil the results of our guestroom refresh project,” Alexandra Mola, general manager of the Newport Beach Hotel & Suites, said in a statement. “With the first phase complete, we are one step closer to realizing our vision of offering travelers a sophisticated stay that perfectly balances modern amenities with the timeless appeal of Newport’s coastal heritage.”

Guests can stay in the suite building or the historic building, the latter being where the recent renovations took place. The Suites building, adjacent to the historic building, offers luxury one- and two-bedroom suites.

Rooms in the historic building were renovated by ABI Interior Design, headquartered in Warwick, RI. The company chose “the beige and blue tones popular in contemporary New England seaside interiors,” according to the property’s website.

This season, travelers will discover new in-room furniture, rugs, bedding, wall coverings and marble bathrooms, as well as curated local artwork. Some rooms offer ocean views.

The variety of rooms available includes a king, queen, two-bedroom suite and a king bunk room.

“Families with young travelers will especially appreciate the ability to book select rooms with playful bunk beds, adding an element of fun to their stay,” the team wrote in a press release.

The two-bedroom living room suite offers a full-size sleeper sofa for groups needing additional sleeping options.

Hotel amenities include free Wi-Fi, an indoor pool, a fitness center, and a day spa. A dining area serves a free continental breakfast.

The property is billed as the only hotel in Rhode Island to feature a hot tub on its rooftop terrace.

The hotel’s restaurant, Ocean Bar and Grille, which offers light bites and craft cocktails, has also revitalized its menu in time for the summer season.

Guests have access to rental bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas. For those vacationing with their pet, dog-friendly rooms are available for $50 per pet, per night.

Starting rate is $269 for midweek stays.
