European giants ready to offer star player to Man United in swap deal for Mason Greenwood

Manchester United are looking at ways to sell Mason Greenwood this summer as he has no future at the club.

The controversial striker spent last season on loan at Getafe, where he impressed numerous clubs across Europe with his performances.

Today, Man United received a major boost by offloading the 22-year-old as Juventus offer him a striker in a swap deal.

Greenwood could join the Serie A side in a swap deal, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian giants are unwilling to honor Man United’s asking price of around €40-50 million for Greenwood.

In order to move the matter forward, the Serie A club are considering adding Federico Chiesa to the deal.

The Italian striker is set to become a free agent next summer, prompting Juventus to consider using him as part of the swap deal.

Man United are now considering pursuing this move as Chiesa is someone who has impressed them in the past.

Lazio could swoop in at the last minute to steal Greenwood from under Juventus’ noses, as they are keen to sign the young striker.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Greenwood, but one thing is certain, he should be shown the exit door at Old Trafford this summer.
