Maine West will display plaques honoring graduates who died in the Vietnam War in new ‘Warrior Hall’

Maine West High School Principal Eileen McMahon said Friday that one or more plaques displaying the names of approximately 17 Maine West male graduates who died while serving in the Vietnam War will be displayed in a glass case in the new “Warrior Room” at the school.

McMahon’s statement came in the form of an email to Maine West graduates and others who days earlier had expressed anger and disappointment over the disappearance of the plaques.
