Kidnapping suspect arrested after criminal stop on I-15 in Lehi

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A felony kidnapping suspect was arrested and arrested Saturday evening, the Utah Highway Patrol confirmed.

The stop was made near mile marker 285, causing significant delays to northbound traffic.

The investigation is ongoing, but authorities said all lanes have since reopened.

The Utah Highway Patrol turned the case over to the West Valley City Police Department.
