Kidnapping suspect arrested near Point of the Mountain

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Highway Patrol said a kidnapping suspect was arrested Saturday evening near Point of the Mountain.

A criminal stop was made on Interstate 15 near mile marker 285, according to the UHP.

The investigation was handed over to the West Valley City Police Department.
