Trisha Krishnan’s Birthday Message for Thalapathy Vijay: “The Calm of a Storm…”

On June 22, actor Thalapathy Vijay celebrated his 50th birthday. This milestone year saw a barrage of social media posts, featuring birthday wishes from celebrities like Rashmika Mandanna, Keerthy Suresh and many more.

However, the only missing piece was a wish from Vijay’s most famous actress, Trisha Krishnan. However, better late than never, Trisha shared a birthday message for Vijay.

Although a day late, Trisha made up for it by posting this cute photo with the GOAT actor. Trisha took her X to share a mirror selfie with Vijay, in what appears to be an elevator. She wrote in her post: “From calm to storm, from storm to calm! There are still many steps to take (birthday cake emoji) (balloon emoji)”.

The post is now viral on social media as fans have gone crazy over the actor’s all-black and sleek look. In the photo, Vijay sports the all-black formal look with a smart shirt, pants and a black satchel.

From the looks of it, the photo was taken during Leo’s filming, as indicated by Vijay’s salt-and-pepper hairstyle and beard.

Thalapathy Vijay’s long story with Trisha Krishnan

Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan’s friendship dates back almost two decades. Their first film together was the iconic Ghilli, which was also recently re-released and became the highest-grossing re-release of all time.

The duo has also acted together in films such as Thirupaachi and Kuruvi. But of course, their most recent collaboration was in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo, where Trisha played the wife of Thalapathy Vijay’s character Leo Das.

On the occasion of Vijay’s birthday, the makers of GOAT released a special birthday preview video titled #TheGOATBdayShots, showcasing some action-packed sequences from the film. The short preview also featured Vijay in a dual role, sparking curiosity about the plot.

Additionally, GOAT producers AGS Entertainment also unveiled the film’s second single, Chinna Chinna Kangal, a melodious family song composed by music director Yuvan Shankar Raja.
