$5,000 reward offered to 2017 Boston murder fugitive

Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a Brockton man wanted for allegedly shooting and killing a man in Boston in 2017, Boston police said.

U.S. Marshals have issued the reward for the arrest of Alan Lewis, 38, wanted on a capital murder warrant for the Nov. 6, 2017, murder of Brent Stevenson, 37, of Boston, it was announced Monday the police in a press release.

Officers responded around 6:38 p.m. that evening to a report of shots fired near the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Boylston Street, police said. As they responded, a vehicle driven by a man with a gunshot wound crashed at 333 Massachusetts Ave.

The driver, identified by police as Stevenson, was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Lewis’ last known address was 88 Reservoir St. in Brockton, police said. He is 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs around 1 kg.

He has brown eyes, black hair, a stocky build and a pair of tattoos on his forearms reading “KILLER” and “BEES,” police said. Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact the Bosotn Police Fugitive Unit at 617-343-5059.
