TAIPEI, Taiwan, June 24, 2024 — ASUS today announced VivoWatch 6, the new flagship smartwatch that offers comprehensive health management features. The watch features a 1.39-inch AMOLED Gorilla® Glass touchscreen with 350 nits brightness. In addition to ASUS Blood Pressure and ASUS ECG apps(I), ASUS VivoWatch 6 sets a new standard in health wearables and is capable of measuring body composition, sleep quality, as well as relaxation index and body harmony analysis. With a total weight of just 60 grams, the watch can be worn comfortably all day. ASUS VivoWatch 6 also has dual-band GPS and up to 14 days(ii) of battery life.

“Building on cutting-edge innovations and years of medical expertise, ASUS VivoWatch 6 is designed to help users easily track their long-term health goals, allowing them to monitor vital health statistics at any time and anywhere to truly implement preventative health care,” Sharon said. Pan, senior director of smart health product planning at ASUS.

Health at your fingertips

ASUS VivoWatch 6 is equipped with two sets of medical-grade ECG and PPG sensors, providing the user with convenient fingertip measurements. The outer ring of the VivoWatch 6 has a bioelectrical impedance (BIA) sensor to measure body composition. Placing your thumb and index finger over the watch face sensor will reveal body fat and skeletal muscle percentages, water content, and basal metabolic rate.

ASUS VivoWatch 6 is also capable of monitoring the balance of the autonomic nervous system and uses heart rate variability (HRV) as a basis to calculate the relaxation index to display short-term stress levels. The body harmony analysis function will present the wearer’s daily emotional state over the past week in a simplified seven-grid chart.

ASUS HealthConnect app

The latest ASUS HealthConnect app has a friendly user interface and provides the user with all tracked health parameters at a glance. The app also includes the Care Track cloud service which allows family members to view the user’s location and health status in real time – an ideal feature for those caring for the elderly.
