Greenville ISD Board of Trustees to Consider 2024-25 Budget Tonight

The Greenville Independent School District Board of Trustees is expected to consider the annual budget for the next fiscal year this evening. The Greenville Herald Banner reports that budget items the board must consider include a proposed two percent raise for all GISD employees. This would cost around $800,000. The Banner reports the district’s total annual budget is about $58.56 million. Other items include a $250,000 HVAC investment and a new hair program, estimated to cost $70,000. Tonight’s special meeting of the Greenville ISD Board of Trustees is scheduled for Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Wesley Martin Administration Building at 4004 Moulton St.
