Meet Dallas Cowboys Cheerleading Rookie Reece Allman

Inthose of Netflix the latest docuseries, America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Hundreds of women are vying for a coveted spot on the 2023-24 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader team. But one newcomer was an early favorite of director Kelli Finglass: Reece Allman, a University of Alabama alumna who eventually made the team.

During the show, Reece, 22, stood out during his Latin ballroom-inspired trial dance. In her confessionals, she remains firm in her Christian faith, telling the cameras that her dancing skills are a gift from God.

But who is Reece and what has she been doing since filming ended? Here’s everything you need to know about everyone’s new favorite cheerleader.

Reece Allman is from Florida.

Reece was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, where she grew up with her two brothers. She’s a Florida girl at heart and loves the beach, according to her profile on the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Website.

She also entered several pageants in her home state and won. Check out this IG:

She started dancing at the age of 3.

Reece has been dancing since she was little.

“I knew dance was my passion from a young age and I knew I wanted to pursue it,” she explained on the team’s website.

She is trained in tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, pointe, modern/lyrical, clogging and acrobatics. She went to a specialized arts school in middle and high school to work on her craft.

She graduated from the University of Alabama.

Reece graduated from the University of Alabama in 2023 with a degree in dance. She performed on the Alabama dance team during her college years.

She captioned an IG: “Thank you @univofalabama for the best 4 years. It has been a great honor and blessing to walk this campus as a student. I will always remember this chapter and keep it close to my heart. »

“This experience opened new doors that I never thought I would walk through,” she added. “I don’t know the title of the next chapter of my life, but I know the author of my story.”

Where is Reece from the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders now?

Well, she’s married! In April, Reece married his “best friend” Will Allman in Florida. The couple met at the University of Alabama — he was even her very first boyfriend, she revealed during the docuseries.

“I married the woman of my dreams in front of 250 of my best friends and family. A perfect day that will never be forgotten. Thank you to everyone who was able to come and celebrate Reece and I,” Will wrote on Instagram after their wedding.

They even celebrated with some of the DCC girls and former rookie contestants, including Charly Barby, Kelly Villares and Anna Kate Sundvold.

Outside of her marriage, Reece has stayed busy as a member of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. Here she volunteers at a children’s pediatric hospital with the team:

In an article published in April, Reece called his first year with the team a “blessing.”

“Thank you so much @dccheerleaders for opening your heart to a girl from Jacksonville, Florida,” she wrote. “This year has been more than I could have imagined. Being part of an organization that remains consistent in its purpose to serve in many areas means the world.”

Go ahead, Reece, go ahead!
