Star Wars games and more given away for free before Prime Day

Summer is now in full swing, which means Prime Day is just around the corner – and Amazon has already announced some big deals.

The annual sale allows Amazon Prime customers to benefit from discounts on a range of products, with this year’s event set to take place on July 16 and 17.

Although the event may take place in a few weeks, Amazon has announced that it has a collection of games available for purchase for FREE through Prime Gaming.

Starting today (June 24), 15 PC classics will be free until July 26, the list including Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.

The games are available on a range of platforms, including Epic Games Store, Amazon Games App and Google Play; The full list of games and their respective release dates can be seen below:

While Star Wars fans will be happy to be able to get their hands on a classic game, they’ve recently been looking into the latest spinoff series, The Acolyte. The series follows a Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) and his former padawan (Amandla Stenberg) as they investigate a series of crimes.

Ahead of the launch, showrunner Leslye Headland exclusively revealed to digital spy that she wanted to channel the “shit” of the original films, saying, “I just thought about my Star Wars, because I have the opportunity to do it as a super fan, I just wanted to borrow all that from the original. trilogy purely because it was my introduction to Star Wars.

Star Wars: The Sidekick streams on Disney+. Prime Day takes place on July 16 and 17.
