Consumers will resonate with bio-inspired hair care as they trend toward natural products.

The hair care category has evolved remarkably over the past few years, driven by growing consumer interest and demand for effective hair care products.

This increased interest leads the most demanding consumers to seek effective and natural solutions.

The demand for natural ingredients stems from consumers’ growing concern for health, safety and the environment.

In Asia, for example, we have seen aggressive demand for silicone-free hair care products in markets like China and Korea.

“In hair care, people are looking for all-natural products, even with basic claims like hair hydration and shine. So do not use silicones to make hair shine. I think the trend will be bio-inspired and look to natural ingredients to carry out these activities. said Dr. Fred Zülli, CEO and founder of Mibelle Biochemistry.

He expects this trend to continue as consumers are now willing to spend more on hair care, as evidenced by the growth of the premium hair care category.

“We see so many expensive products coming onto the market and people are willing to pay $30 for a shampoo because it is effective and cost-effective.”

Zülli said the company would continue its research in the field of hair care, especially the scalp, as it forms the basis of healthy hair.

“Scalp care is booming. We are studying the current active ingredients we have for the skin to see if they will have beneficial effects on the scalp.
