Man wanted on warrant arrested after stabbing in Somerville

A man on an outstanding warrant was arrested Monday after reports of a stabbing.

Police said the stabbing call came in shortly after 3 p.m. in the area of ​​57 Davis Square.

Responding officers found a man suspected of being involved in the incident. He was later arrested on a warrant unrelated to the altercation, according to a Somerville police spokesperson.

Authorities have not released the name of the person arrested or provided further details about the stabbing call.

Police say the Criminal Investigation Division is investigating the incident.
