The three main things we consider when naming our car

The three main things we consider when naming our car

Does your car have a name? It’s apparently a sign of love. A survey found that people who love their car are more likely to name it.

49% of people who own a car they love have given it a name. This compares to 20% of people who simply “like” their car and 14% who don’t like their car.

So, what is the main thing we consider when choosing a good name? The #1 answer was the PERSONALITY of the car. . . whatever that means.

1. Personality. 37% of people who named their car said that was the reason they chose the name.

2. Make and model, 29%. It’s like calling your Kia Forte “Will” afterwards Will Forte.

3. How it works, 21%. Like “Zippy” because it’s fast.

The survey found that the best way to show our car some love is to give it regular maintenance. . . get the oil changed. . . get it washed. . . and take it out for a leisurely drive. (???)
