Restaurant and function hall ready to reopen in Foxboro

FOXBORO — A Route 1 restaurant and function hall that closed earlier this year after frustrated town officials refused to renew its food service and alcohol serving permits are poised to reopen.

Appearing before select board members last week, the former Olive & Mint restaurant and Ambrosia function hall at 2 Washington St. (Route 1) each were awarded common food and entertainment licenses, enabling the two establishments to open for business — presumably no later than July 4.
