Travis Kelce breaks his silence on the other most talked about couple in the NFL

Travis Kelce breaks his silence on the other most talked about couple in the NFL

At least since the debut of the seminal 1967 film “The Graduate,” society and culture at large have been asking: Can the age gap within a couple ever be too big?

(In fact, you can probably trace this discussion back to the Greek tragedy of Oedipus, although that story is full of much deeper issues than the age gap between “husband” and wife.)

And while you might expect this question to be discussed on a show specifically about dating, like the “whatever” podcast, you probably wouldn’t expect the topic to be discussed on a podcast on football.

Yet somehow the “New Heights” podcast, run by brothers Travis Kelce (current Kansas City Chiefs tight end) and Jason Kelce (recently retired Kansas City Eagles center star Philadelphia) actually addressed this very topic, thanks to a familiar foe for both brothers.

The episode, which aired Wednesday, can be watched in full below:

WARNING: The following video contains language that some viewers may find offensive.

A little background: the episode was from London because the Kelce brothers were there to support Travis’ girlfriend, who is music superstar Taylor Swift.

Travis Kelce and Swift have easily become the most talked about romantic couple in football – much to the dismay of some football fans – and have become a bona fide Hollywood A-list couple.

Do you have problems with a 70 year old dating a 23 year old?

Right behind Kelce and Swift, though? Most football fans have been talking about legendary former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick’s romantic relationship lately – and it goes back to that initial question at the top of this article.

Belichick, 72, is reportedly dating Jordon Hudson, 23, which makes for a nice 49-year age difference. According to TMZ, the two bonded over a deductive logic textbook during a random flight together.

(According to the timeline offered by TMZ, Belichick – in his late 60s – exchanged contact information with Hudson, then a college student.)

Belichick, whose Patriots have had notable matchups with Travis’ Chiefs and Jason’s Eagles, was briefly stabbed and complimented by Travis Kelce on Wednesday’s “New Heights” show in a segment comparing NFL numbers to the figures of the War of Independence.

As the two brothers discussed which NFL figure was closest to America’s founding father, Benjamin Franklin, Travis suggested the legendary Patriots coach.

“Belichick,” Travis suggested.

“I’m not getting a Belichick vibe from Benny,” Jason retorted.

“Belichick is a skillful man,” Travis said, before stumbling over his own words. “His daughter – his girlfriend – is…”

“Let’s not go, please,” Jason, the older brother, replied immediately.

After a hearty laugh, Travis finally complimented Belichick, saying the septuagenarian former coach was “killing it” on the dating scene.

So this is it.

From one half of a polarizing NFL couple to the other half of a polarizing NFL couple: Bill Belichick, not to mention his six Super Bowl rings as head coach, is ” kill him” with his supposed 23-year-old beau.

(Despite widespread reporting from outlets such as TMZ, neither Belichick nor Hudson have actually commented publicly on their alleged relationship, although they have been publicly spotted together.)

A word from our deputy editor:

I heard a scary comment the other day: “We don’t even know if there will be an election in 2024.”

This was not said by a conspiracy theorist or doomsday prophet. No, that’s what former U.S. National Security Advisor Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn told Western Journal founder Floyd Brown.

General Flynn’s warning means that the 2024 election is the most important election for every American alive. If we lose this one to the wealthy elites who hate us, who hate God, and who hate what America stands for, we can only assume that 248 years of American history and the values we hold dear may soon disappear.

The end game is here, and as Benjamin Franklin said, “We must all stick together, or we will certainly all stick together.” »

All this means is that without you, It’s finish. We have the platform, journalists and experience to fight back hard, but Big Tech is strangling us through ad blacklists, shadow bans and algorithms. Did you know that we are blacklisted by 90% of advertisers? Without your direct support, our readers, we cannot continue the fight.

Can we count on your support? This may not seem like much, but Western Journal Membership can make all the difference in the world, because when you support us directly, you take Big Tech out of the picture. They lose control.

A monthly subscription to The Western Journal costs less than a coffee and a breakfast sandwich each month, and gives you access to ALL our content – news, commentary and premium articles. You’ll experience a radically reduced number of ads and, more importantly, you’ll vitally support the fight for the soul of America in 2024.
