These disruptions are expected to inconvenience regular commuters, especially those who depend on the Balharshah-Kazipet Memu Express and the Sirpur-Kagaznagar Intercity Express for their daily commute. Residents of Mancherial, Peddapalli, Ramagundam, Jammikunta and Kazipet, who frequently use these services, will be forced to look for alternative modes of transport, such as buses or super-fast express trains, which operate on limited timings.

“The planned cancellation of 78 trains has been announced, and all affected passengers will receive a full refund of their purchased tickets,” a railway official said. “Of the canceled trains, only four are running daily, while the rest are running on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. These cancellations are necessary to facilitate the ongoing crucial works.”
