$1,000 reward offered for information on Tuskegee shooting

Tuskegee police need the public’s help finding answers in the June 15 shooting on East Martin Luther King Highway that killed 26-year-old Kenadrius Beason and injured three others.

Crimestoppers has offered a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest.

According to the release, on June 15, officers and medics responded to 207 East Martin Luther King Highway in Tuskegee in reference to a shooting that occurred around 1 a.m. Upon arrival, four victims with gunshot wounds were located.

Three victims were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment, and the fourth victim suffered a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene, the news release said.

The investigation is ongoing and no further details are available at this time. Investigators and the family are asking anyone who may have information regarding this investigation to contact law enforcement or Central Alabama Crimestoppers, according to the news release.
