DVIDS – News – BACH Announces Fort Campbell DONSA, Independence Day Outpatient Services

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – In observance of the federal holiday of Independence Day, Thursday, July 4, and Fort Campbell’s No Scheduled Activities Day, Friday, July 5, the outpatient services at Fort Campbell Community Hospital Blanchfield Army, including outpatient pharmacies, will follow on a public holiday. /DONSA timetable.

The BACH Emergency Center, Labor and Delivery Services, Inpatient Services and Emergency Support Services remain open 24/7.

July 2 | Behavioral Health Services

The Behavioral Health Department is scheduled for a team building event on the afternoon of July 2. Soldiers seeking a same-day walk-in appointment on July 2 afternoon should go to the Behavioral Health Multidisciplinary Clinic located in BACH Building E.

Family Advocacy, Emergency Center Behavioral Health, Multidisciplinary Clinic, and Inpatient Behavioral Health services remain normal hours on the afternoon of July 2.

July 4 | Independence Day federal holiday

All outpatient services, including patient-centered medical centers, outpatient pharmacies, women’s health clinic, dental clinics and the appointment line, close on federal holidays and will therefore be closed on July 4 through on the occasion of the federal Independence holiday.

The BACH Emergency Center, Labor and Delivery, Inpatient Services, and Emergency Support Services remain open 24/7.

July 5 | Fort Campbell DONSA

Patient-centered medical homes, including Air Assault, Byrd, Gold, Young Eagle and Screaming Eagle medical homes, remain open and operating on a DONSA schedule on July 5. Soldier health services will be consolidated at the LaPointe Soldier Medical Home on DONSA on July 5.

BACH specialty services open on DONSA include laboratory and behavioral health. Physical and occupational therapy are open until noon for scheduled appointments.

Epperly Dental Clinic, located at 3603 Indiana Ave. & 49th St., will be open for dental illness calls. For dental assistance on the DONSA, contact 270-798-3544.

July 8 | Moving the Byrd family’s medical home

Patients assigned to Byrd Family Medical Home begin receiving care at Air Assault Family Medical Home beginning July 8. Previously assigned BFMH patients should receive a letter in the mail from TRICARE’s Eastern Region contractor, Humana Military, if your primary care manager changes. Former BFMH patients who wish to make a PCM change can do so by contacting Humana at 1-800-444-5445 or online at: www.humanamilitary.com. Pharmacies Fort Campbell

Town Center, Main, LaPointe and Screaming Eagle pharmacies are open during normal business hours on DONSA. Patients who typically receive their prescriptions at Byrd Pharmacy can use LaPointe Pharmacy or Town Center Pharmacy on July 5.

The downtown pharmacy will open regular business hours on Saturday, July 6.

TRICARE Nurse Advice Line

After hours and on holidays, beneficiaries can call the MHS Nurse Advice Line at 1-800-TRICARE (874-2273). Nurses who staff the NAL phone lines can help beneficiaries with non-life-threatening medical issues, locate emergency care, and provide additional advice. Beneficiaries experiencing a medical emergency, such as severe shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Through the MHS GENESIS patient portal services at https://my.mhsgenesis.health.mil/, patients can request appointments, view their medical records, check lab and test results, and securely submit a question to their healthcare team 24/7 via a computer, tablet or smartphone.

Patients can make or cancel appointments through the BACH Appointment Line at 270-798-HOSP (4677) or 931-431-HOSP during regular business hours Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
