78 trains canceled and 36 diverted between Hyderabad and New Delhi until July 7

Until July 7, 78 trains were canceled and 36 were diverted to alternative routes. The reason is that the railway line between Kazipet and Balharshah is currently under construction of third line.

The South Central Railway (SCR) has caused the cancellation of several trains for the preparatory and commissioning works of the third line between Asifabad and Rechni stations in Secunderabad division, according to The Hindu.

Lists of canceled trains

Here are the trains affected by the cancellations and diversions until July 6 and 7:

Train No. 17003 Kazipet-Solapur Express

Train No. 17004 Balharshah-Kazipet Express

Train No. 12757 Secunderabad-Sirpur Kagaznagar Express

Train No. 12758 Sirpur Kagaznagar-Secunderabad Express

Additionally, trains connecting Secunderabad to Hazrat Nizamuddin, Patna, Raxual, Danapur and Subdergunj, as well as those connecting Hyderabad to Gorakhpur and Raxual, have been cancelled on designated dates throughout the period due to ongoing infrastructure works on the Kazipet-Balharshah section.
