Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness FINALLY Breaks Silence On ‘Monster’ Allegations In Explosive Exposure!

Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness FINALLY Breaks Silence On ‘Monster’ Allegations In Explosive Exposure!

Jonathan Van Ness FINALLY responds to these allegations…

Last March, Rolling stone published a scathing expose in which several witnesses accused the strange eye star having “rage” issues, leaving his colleagues in “fear” and overall being a “monster”. It’s A LOT, and you can catch up on it all HERE.

Today, more than three months after his release, Jonathan finally speaks out.

By appearing on the Good table manners podcast on Wednesday, the non-binary TV star revealed that they and the rest of the “Strange Eye The family” learned of the “withdrawal of the investigation” in December – but were told “it wasn’t really based in reality”. However, they were told:

“(There) can definitely be a lot of things taken out of context to make you look as bad as possible. So it could go down any day. Just so you know.

It gave them a bad image…

Jonathan recalls feeling like they had to “walk on eggshells” after learning that the presentation could be webcast at any time:

“I think a lot of people were looking for a reason to hate me or looking for a reason to be like, ‘See, I always knew they were fake assholes and this is proof.’ My family has been so supportive of my husband and my team, but I didn’t even get on social media or look at my phone for three weeks.

The hairstylist also noted how bad the timing was, as they were preparing to launch their hair care line, JVN Hair:

“I think people forget that no matter how famous you are, you’re still a person. This article came at an incredibly vulnerable time, like for my hair care business, for my entire career. It was really, really difficult.”

But despite claiming that “the article was extremely false and written in bad faith,” Jonathan still tried to use it as an opportunity to hold himself accountable:

“There were times in my career where I was stressed. Or I was in the thick of it and I was like, ‘No, I can’t talk about that right now.’ I know there were times where I could have been better.”

They remember thinking:

“I was like, ‘Oh my God, is this true?’ Like, am I really this bad person?’ It forced me to really learn how to slow down, disengage and then really love myself… I think this article made me realize how much I had been put in this position of being an expert or being Perfect. I am someone who stands for self-acceptance. But sometimes self-acceptance comes down to having to love yourself during incredibly difficult times.
