Presidential Debate on CNN President Joe Biden’s War Room

Former White House chief of staff for President Biden’s first three years in office, Jen O’Malley Dillon, released a statement following the presidential debate on CNN, saying former President Donald Trump’s performance “reminded the American people why they fired him four years ago, and reinforced how much is at stake this November for the future of our country.”

“Tonight, President Biden laid out a positive, winning vision for America’s future – a vision where every American has a chance to achieve the American dream, where every one of our rights is protected, and where our President stands fights to strengthen our democracy – not to tear it down.

“On the other side of the stage, Donald Trump offered a dark and retrograde window into what America will look like if he returns to the White House: a country where women are forced to beg for healthcare they need to stay alive. A country that places the interests of billionaires above workers. And a former president who, not once, not twice, but three times, refused to promise that he would accept the results of a free and fair election this November,” O’Malley Dillon said, according to an email from Biden-Harris team campaign Thursday evening.
