Palm Beach Hotels and Resorts Offering Vacation Deals

From discounted nightly rates and perks for Florida residents to a free two-hour yacht cruise and free meals for kids, Palm Beach resorts and hotels are offering deals this summer.

“Summers in Palm Beach have a distinctive charm,” Mazen Saleh, general manager of the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, told the Daily News.

Summer on the island is “peaceful” and “a well-kept secret,” Sarah Wetenhall, CEO and president of the Colony Hotel, told the Daily News. “Visitors and locals really have time to enjoy all that Palm Beach has to offer and experience island life.”

While summer hotel deals have been offered for decades, recent summers have presented a surprising paradigm shift: After the onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic in spring 2020, summer hotel bookings of Palm Beach in 2021 and 2022, for example, have soared thanks to pent-up travel demand born from pandemic fatigue.

Doing so at a time of year when business historically slows compared to the peak winter season is intended to attract not only far-flung travelers considering a Palm Beach getaway, but also locals considering an amenity-filled stay as the crowds and traffic dissipate.

Since then, summers have remained busier than usual, according to The Breakers’ communications director, Sara Flight.

“As the level of activity has remained high in recent years and continues to increase, we no longer consider summer as a “low season” but rather as a season, and the winter period as a “super season”. »

However, summer hotel offers are on the table.

Here are some of them, which usually depend on dates and availability; Some restrictions apply, so inquire when booking and check the hotel website for updates.

THE BREAKERS

1 South County Road

With four pools, 10 restaurants, a beach, spa and other amenities, special nightly summer rates at The Breakers start at $690 through August 31, but look for additional savings with packages.

The historic hotel does not currently offer rates for Florida residents, but it does offer a bed and breakfast plan with complimentary daily breakfast. This benefit can be combined with other offers.

“With summer upon us, we are excited to welcome residents and travelers alike for an unforgettable seaside getaway,” Flight said.
