Ready for the 4th of July fireworks? Here’s where you can see them in the metro-east area

Independence Day is just a week away, but not all fireworks take place on the Fourth of July and the time and date vary from city to city.

Fireworks shows in the area will all begin once the sun goes down. If a show is scheduled to start at dusk, it will likely take place between 8:15 p.m. and 9:40 p.m.

Some cities have multi-day festivals from noon to night that include music, food, and games. Others simply offer fireworks shows.
