“There are many things in life that are unfair.”

Labour MP Liz Kendall clashed with Martin Lewis in a heated discussion over property tax bands and the current system.

On Wednesday 26 June’s episode of Good Morning Britain, Mr Lewis asked Ms Kendall whether the current system was fair.

She replied: “We are not going to change them, and let me tell you why, we have to be honest about our priorities, and our priorities are not to increase income tax, VAT or security social. »

The founder of Money Saving Expert responded: “My question is whether they are fair. »

Mrs Kendall replied: “There are a lot of unfair things in life, Martin.”
