Bayer Leverkusen’s Robert Andrich says Germany ready to face Denmark

Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Robert Andrich has had an excellent season for both club and country.

Having gone from substitute to starting for Germany, Andrich is loving every moment of this experience at EURO 2024 – and is determined to ensure his team is ready to take on Denmark.

“I’m looking forward to the crowd tomorrow. It’s going to be a great game with an incredibly great crowd. It inspires me and the rest of the team. We’re happy to have won the group. We’re now in the round of 16 and the journey is not over yet. We still have a lot to do,” Andrich said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “We’re very well prepared for tomorrow. We watched Denmark and know they play with a five-man defense. We want to be variable. It’s going to be a good mix to make sure we can get our attacking players into dangerous areas. If we do that, we can be dangerous for any opponent.”

“We see that the team has a certain confidence in itself. We want to continue, stay motivated and move on to the next round. It won’t be easy, but I’m confident we will qualify. »

Germany will need this confidence. Even though Denmark is not a major power, it should represent a serious challenge for the Germans.
