Britt Baker is about to be ready for AEW’s return

Britt Baker’s absence from All Elite Wrestling has been highly notable, with the former AEW Women’s World Champion having been out of the ring since September 2023. However, “DMD” could be returning to AEW sooner rather than later.

AEW President Tony Khan was asked about Baker’s condition during the pre-Forbidden Door media call on June 27, with Khan having the following to say about Baker:

“I’m really excited that Britt Baker is about to be ready to return to AEW. She’s been injured and hasn’t been cleared to wrestle. I expect her to be able to come back soon. I would love that. I’m really excited to have all of our biggest stars back. It was great to have MJF back. So many big stars were out. It’s going to be amazing when we have big stars, Britt Baker is a great example, it’s going to be awesome to have the Doctor back in AEW. So many other great former champions including Jamie Hayter, Kenny Omega, Adam Cole and so many other great wrestlers, we can’t wait to get back here in AEW. For me, I know that Dr. Britt. Baker and the fans around the world are going to be excited to have her back. I’m happy that she’s cleared to come back very soon. Khan said.

Khan gave no time frame for Baker’s return, with the ‘dentist’ training for a return since early 2024.
