Suspect wanted in Claussen Road hotel room burglary

AUGUSTA, Georgia (WJBF) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an unidentified suspect in connection with a recent burglary at a local hotel.

The incident report states that on June 25, the man pictured here allegedly entered the victim’s hotel room after he was transported to a local hospital due to a medical emergency.

Seized from the room was a die-cast white Camaro model, a silver 12 gauge shotgun, a black bag with a black American flag on it, the victim’s medications, his driver’s license and bank card, as well as only $190 in cash.

Surveillance video showed an unidentified white woman accompanying the suspect. Hotel management says the two men had entered the property without authorization.
