Meet Tuck and Chunky, CVAS Pets of the Week

Meet Tuck and Chunky, the CVAS Pets of the Week. These are just two of the amazing animals residing in area animal shelters.

Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter has lots of adorable pets looking for their forever homes. While Tuck and Chunky would love to meet you, check out all the other adorable pets available for adoption too. Go to this Animal shelter link to see all their residents.

CVAS encourages anyone interested in welcoming a four-legged friend into their home to discover the wonderful animals available for adoption at the shelter.

Pets find themselves homeless for a variety of reasons, needing a new home and a second chance. So if you’re looking for a new four-legged best friend, check out the shelter’s many residents. Any of these would make a great pet and a wonderful companion.

Adoptions are now by appointment only, and it has worked very well. Donors have also helped by providing supplies and money, which is much needed to provide for the shelter’s homeless animals.

Potential adopters can call 717-263-5791 for more information.

Come back

Tuck is a shy but sweet 1-year-old terrier mix who came to the shelter as a stray. He loves to go out in the yard and play with the rope toys! He is a bigger guy, 65 pounds, and knows how to sit. Due to his shyness, a home with older children might be the best fit. Tuck would love to know what a forever home is like! CVAS, 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, Kennel Permit #2090

Fat

Chunky came to the shelter because his owner died. He is an 8 year old gray tabby boy who will do better in a quieter home. He is a really sweet guy who purrs and rubs against his kennel when we show him attention. Could you open your heart to Chunky?
