Announcement of total and partial cancellation of MEMU, Express and Vande Bharat one-way special trains; check details

CHENNAI: Several MEMU and express trains between Katpadi-Tirupati, Villupuram – Tirupati are totally/partially cancelled from July 1 to 31 due to engineering works and a special train will be operated between Kochuveli – Mangaluru Central to avoid extra rush, a Southern Railway statement said.

Tirupati – Katpadi MEMU Special Express, leaving Tirupati at 06:50 AM, Katpadi – Tirupati MEMU Special Express, leaving Katpadi at 09:15 PM, Katpadi – Jolarpettai MEMU Special Express leaving Katpadi at 09:30 AM, Jolarpettai – Katpadi MEMU Special Express, leaving Jolarpettai at 12:45 PM are completely cancelled from 1st July to 31st July.

Train No. 16853, Tirupati – Villupuram Express, departing from Tirupati at 13:40 is partially cancelled between Tirupati and Katpadi. ​​Train No. 16854, Villupuram – Tirupati Express, departing from Villupuram at 05:35 is partially cancelled between Katpadi and Tirupati from July 1 to July 31.

Train No. 06001 Kochuveli – Mangaluru Central, a one way Vande Bharat Special, would be operated to clear the extra peaks which would leave Kochuveli at 10:45 AM on Monday and reach Mangaluru Central at 10:00 PM, the same day (1 service). The composition of coaches will be 8 rakes. The train will reach Ernakulam town at 2:02 p.m./2:05 p.m., Kozhikode Main at 5:32 p.m./5:35 p.m., the release added.
