Hawks decide not to make $85 million qualifying offer to Saddiq Bey

The Atlanta Hawks have decided not to extend Saddiq Bey’s $8.5 million qualifying offer, which would make him an unrestricted free agent. Bey suffered a torn ACL last season, which puts his status in doubt for the 24-25 season. The Hawks have luxury tax concerns as they begin a roster reset.

The Hawks acquired Bey at the 2023 trade deadline from the Detroit Pistons. In 63 games last season, Bey averaged 13.7 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 32.7 minutes.

Bey is portrayed by Jordan Gertler and James Dunleavy.
