The Brazilian club now considers it impossible to sign the Arsenal star this summer

One of the most intriguing rumors of recent months concerned Palmeiras’ interest in signing Gabriel Jesus.

The Brazilian club are set to lose young sensation Endrick to Real Madrid this summer and are looking to make a big-money signing to replace him.

Jesus was identified as their main target. With Kai Havertz now occupying a starting role at the Emirates, Jesus is likely to be relegated to a substitute role.

Palmeiras saw this as an opportunity to bring Jesus back to Brazil.

However, after assessing the financial aspects, Palmeiras decided to abandon their pursuit of the striker.

According to a report from UOL, the club now believe it would be impossible to complete the transfer due to the significant financial demands.

Even if Jesus loses his starting place at Arsenal, he will not consider a return to Brazil at this stage of his career.

He can still play and is playing many games at another big European club, so Palmeiras had no chance of bringing him back home.

He will be hoping to regain his place in the Arsenal team next season, and scoring more goals is a sure way to achieve that.
