LSU football seeking 3-star CB Aidan Anding after offer

LSU’s 2025 class is off to a very strong start, but they suffered a significant loss last week.

Four-star cornerback Jaboree Antoine, the top-ranked cornerback in the state of Louisiana, has ended his commitment to the Tigers. Since then, coach Brian Kelly and the staff have worked hard to strengthen the cornerback class again.

To do that, they recently offered Aidan Anding, a three-star cornerback ranked No. 561 nationally but No. 3 in the state of Louisiana, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Texas has been hot for Anding, having received plenty of projections to get him this month from 247Sports and On3. But LSU’s offer on Friday appears to have changed things.

On3’s Billy Embody recently made a prediction in favor of LSU landing Anding. LSU also hopes to stay in the mix for the nation’s top cornerback, DJ Pickett, who took an official visit to Baton Rouge earlier in the cycle.

LSU hopes it doesn’t come too late for Anding, who ranks No. 22 overall in the state of Louisiana.
