Harrisburg’s Broad Street Market was forced to move into a tent in May after a fire ravaged its historic brick building last summer.

The market now needs your help to choose a name for its temporary location.

The final names are: Tenty McTentface, Tent to Table, Little Broad Street Market, The Pavilion and The Farmer’s Phoenix, the market said in a Facebook post Saturday.

Anyone who visits the Broad Street Market tent between Thursday, June 27 and Saturday, July 8 will be able to vote by making a cash donation. The market tent location, which is a temporary solution after a fire gutted the brick Broad Street Market building last summer, will be renamed the name that brings in the most money.

Donations and votes can be submitted at the Broad Street Market merchandise booth.

The Broad Street Market has been a hot topic in Harrisburg since the July 2023 fire destroyed the historic brick building.

In May, the Harrisburg City Council voted against a construction manager for the project, further halting the process of rebuilding the original market building.
