Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray Sends Bold Message About 2024 Season

Just a few short years ago, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was one of the fastest rising superstars in the NFL. Over the last couple of years, he has dealt with injuries that have completely derailed his career.

Despite the setbacks he suffered, the Cardinals’ star quarterback is ready to get back on track in 2024. He’s excited about the season and is expecting a big year from himself and his team.

In a quote shared by Darren Urban of Arizona’s official team site, Murray opened up and sent a bold message out about the upcoming season.

“Going into Year Six, am I excited? Hell yeah, I’m excited. I feel good. Just to be healthy again is a blessing. Yes, I believe in what we can do.”

Now the question becomes, can Murray actually live up to the hype and get his career back on track?

What to expect from Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray

During the 2023 season with the Cardinals, Murray ended up playing in just eight games. He completed 65.7 percent of his pass attempts for 1,799 yards, 10 touchdowns, and five interceptions. He also picked up 244 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

Those numbers weren’t bad at all. Especially adding in the fact that he had returned from a torn ACL midseason, there are many reasons to be excited about what he produced.

At just 26 years old, the Arizona Cardinals’ quarterback has plenty of time to turn his career around. He is also going to be working with much better weapons than he has ever had.

Most notably, Arizona went out and selected former Ohio State Buckeyes standout wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Murray still has the playmaking ability that made him so dangerous. His arm has always been strong and accurate. There is nothing holding him back from getting back to being viewed as one of the most dangerous quarterbacks in the NFL.

Hopefully, he’ll be able to produce the numbers on the field that are expected from him. There are no excuses in play for the 2024 season and it’s time for him to prove that he is still worthy of being the long-term franchise quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals.
