National Philharmonic Orchestra announces 2024-25 season

The National Philharmonic has announced its 2024-2025 season. Here is a preview of the vocal performances.

Verdi’s Requiem will be conducted by Victoria Gau and will feature Amber Monroe, Magdalena Wor, Rafael Moras and Zaikuan Song.

Date of performance: November 23, 2024 at the Music Center in Strathmore

Handel’s “Messiah” with the Baltimore Choral Arts Society will be directed by Anthony Blake Clark and will feature Aundi Marie Moore, Lucia Bradford, Norman Shankle and Jorell Williams.

Performance dates: December 21 and 22, 2024 at the Music Center at Strathmore and December 23, 2024 at Capital One Hall

Stand the Storm with the Washington Chorus will be conducted by Eugene Rogers. Soloists Monique Holmes-Spells and Damian Norfleet will perform music by Bernstein, Nkeiru Okoye and Rollo Dilworth.

Performance dates: March 15, 2025 at the Music Center in Strathmore
