France invite banned Juventus midfielder Pogba to meet their team at EURO 2024

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has been invited to meet France players ahead of their EURO 2024 round of 16 clash with Belgium despite being banned for four years for failing a doping test.

If that appeal fails, Juve will likely attempt to terminate his contract for cause or agree to a termination by mutual consent.

Former Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi will also get the opportunity, as Didier Deschamps hopes having two 2018 World Cup winners will inspire the current squad.

Pogba has not announced his retirement, denying reports this week that he “no longer exists” because it was a joke in an old interview.
