The mother of Jocelyn Nungaray, who was killed by two illegal immigrants, was shocked when she received a phone call from Donald Trump just minutes before his debate with President Biden.

According to her best friend Victoria Galvan, the unexpected call meant a lot to the heartbroken mother. Her 12-year-old daughter was strangled and found floating in a bayou just miles from their Houston home on June 16.

“He said to me, ‘I’m actually about to do a debate’… He offered his condolences and said he would get back to her,” Victoria said.

“He meant… to say that he was praying for Alexis and thinking about her and wanted to reach out to her. He said he was going to contact her in a few days…I mean, she was really…we were all shocked. »

Johan Jose Martinez-Rangel, 22, and Franklin Jose Peña Ramos, 26, both Venezuelans, were arrested and charged with capital murder. They are both being held on $10 million bail. The move comes as immigration and the border were among the hot-button issues the candidates clashed over during Thursday’s debate.
